Firefighters Run Into Danger — Joey’s Doing It Again
Joey Davis is battling Stage 4 cancer. Let’s fight alongside him.
Firefighters face risk every time they answer the call. Joey Davis knew that when he signed up — and he’s answered that call for years.
After beating cancer once before, Joey is now fighting Stage 4 cancer with that same courage and grit. He’s traveling to the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center — trading in his FSU garnet and gold to get the best treatment available.
He’s not just fighting for himself. He’s still fighting for firefighter cancer coverage, early screenings, and benefits — to make sure others don’t face the same fight.
It’s our turn to show up for Joey.

How You Can Help
Let’s Show Joey He’s Not Fighting Alone
Cancer treatment is expensive. Travel, time off, and out-of-pocket costs add up fast.
Whether you purchase one ticket or 20 tickets, every bit helps. Besides, you'll have a better chance at scoring that bourbon bottle you've always wanted. All donations will support Joey’s treatment, travel, and care.
How the Bourbon Raffle Works
Support a Brother. Score a Bottle.
We’ve rounded up dozens of incredible bottles of bourbon — some rare, some legendary — all donated in support of Joey’s fight.
Here’s how the raffle works:
-
🎟 Buy a Ticket: Each raffle ticket gets you one entry into the drawing. The more you buy, the better your odds — and the more you support Joey.
-
🔊 Drawing Day – June 5th: Names will be drawn live at the Florida Professional Firefighters Convention in Palm Beach County.
-
🥃 Pick Your Bottle: If your name is drawn and you’re there in person, you’ll get to pick your bottle from the available selection — first come, first drawn.
-
📦 Not Present? No Problem. If you’re not on-site when your name is called, we’ll select a great bottle for you and make sure it gets to you safely.
Every bottle represents a show of support. Every ticket is a step toward easing Joey’s burden.
We're Getting There
